Terms of Service
The agreement between us.
Last updated 21 October 2026. These terms apply to home and small office cleaning provided by Yeronga Clean Co in Brisbane, Queensland.
1. Who we are
Yeronga Clean Co is a local cleaning business based in Yeronga, serving Brisbane suburbs within approximately 15 km. You can reach us at bookings@yerongacleanco.com.au or on 0402 999 858.
2. Quotes and prices
Prices shown on this website and in our booking form are starting prices for a home in normally maintained condition. They are an estimate, not a final invoice.
Once you send us your property details, we review them and confirm your final price by email or SMS. We will never charge more than the price you have agreed to. If a home needs more work than the standard package covers, we tell you before we start and you decide whether to go ahead.
3. Bookings are requests until we confirm them
Submitting the booking form sends us a request. It is not a confirmed appointment until you hear back from us, which is usually the same day. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice so we can schedule properly.
Arrival times are given as a two-hour window rather than an exact time, because travel and the previous job both vary. If we are running late we will tell you.
4. Access to your home
You do not need to be home. Most clients leave entry instructions such as a key, a lockbox code or building access details, and you are equally welcome to be there.
Please ensure that we can access the property on the scheduled day. If we arrive and cannot access the property, we will try to reach you, but we may not be able to complete the clean and may need to reschedule.
Tell us about pets when you book so your cleaner can plan around them.
5. Equipment and cleaning products
We supply standard cleaning products and equipment, including a vacuum, mop and bucket, at no additional charge.
If you prefer us to use particular products or microfibre cloths, please provide them and let us know before the clean.
6. What a clean includes
Each package lists what it covers. Anything outside that list is an add-on, priced separately and shown to you before you book. Laundry, ironing and dishes add-ons are covered in section 7.
Some services fall outside the scope of what we can safely provide: exterior windows above ground level, biohazards, pest treatment, mould remediation, moving heavy furniture, and anything requiring a licence or specialist equipment. If we spot something like this we will tell you rather than attempt it.
7. Laundry, ironing and dishes
Laundry, ironing and dishes are optional add-ons, charged per unit at the prices published on our pricing page and shown when you book. Each unit is defined as follows:
- Washing, per load: one standard washing machine cycle, filled to the machine’s normal capacity (about one full laundry basket). We start the load and then move it to your dryer or hang it on your line or airer. Folding is a separate add-on.
- Folding, per basket: one standard laundry basket of clean, dry clothing, folded and left in neat piles in one place. Putting items away in drawers or wardrobes is not included.
- Ironing, per 10 items: up to ten garments or household items. A large item such as a bed sheet, doona cover or tablecloth counts as two items.
- Dishwasher, per load: loading or unloading your dishwasher once, and starting the cycle when we load it.
- Hand-washed dishes, per sink: one sink full of dishes, washed and left on the rack to dry. Heavily soiled pots, pans and baked-on trays may count as an additional sink.
These add-ons must be booked before the visit. We complete the quantity you have booked. If there is more than you booked, we will only do the extra at the same unit price after you approve it, and only if there is time left in the visit.
You supply laundry detergent, a working washing machine, a dryer, line or airer, an iron and ironing board, and dishwashing liquid or dishwasher tablets. Please sort laundry by colour and fabric before we arrive and empty all pockets. We start laundry at the beginning of the visit. If your machine’s cycle will not finish before the visit ends, we will let you know and leave the load in the machine for you to finish.
We follow each item’s care label. We do not wash, dry or iron items marked dry clean only, hand wash only or do not iron, or unlabelled delicate fabrics. We may decline to hand wash crystal, antique, hand-painted, gold-trimmed or other fragile or valuable items, and we do not put items marked not dishwasher safe in the dishwasher. We are not responsible for colour run, shrinkage or other damage caused by an item’s fabric, dye or construction where we have followed its care label, or for items left in pockets.
8. Changing or cancelling a clean
Plans change and we understand that. You can cancel or reschedule without a fee up to the night before your clean. Let us know as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else, but there is no penalty for changing your mind.
Regular clients keep the same slot and the same cleaner. If last-minute changes happen frequently we may not be able to hold a fixed slot, but we would talk to you about it first.
We may occasionally need to reschedule because of illness or circumstances outside our control. We will give you as much notice as we can and find another time that suits.
9. Payment
No card is needed to book. We confirm your appointment and final price first, and payment is due after the clean using the method stated on your invoice.
10. If something is not right
Tell us within 48 hours of the clean and we will return to address the concern. We would always rather fix something than leave you unhappy.
This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which we cannot and do not exclude.
11. Damage, breakages and insurance
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance suitable for homes and commercial premises. A Certificate of Currency is available on request.
Accidents are rare but possible. If we damage something, tell us as soon as you notice and we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
Please put away valuables, irreplaceable items and anything fragile you would rather we did not handle. We cannot accept responsibility for items that were already damaged or unstable, or for normal wear revealed by cleaning.
12. Your privacy
We collect your details only to quote for and deliver your clean. We do not sell them or pass them to anyone else. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
13. Treating each other well
Your cleaner is a person, and the same person each visit. We ask that they are treated with respect and given a safe place to work. We reserve the right to end a booking, or stop working with a client, if that is not the case.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you book is the version that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
Questions about any of this? Ask us before you book. Email bookings@yerongacleanco.com.au or call 0402 999 858 and we will be happy to help.
