Privacy Policy

Yeronga Clean Co (“we”, “us”) provides home and small office cleaning in Yeronga and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact and booking details — your name, email address, mobile number, service address, suburb and postcode, the property details you enter (bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, pets), your preferred date and arrival window, access and parking instructions, and any notes you send us.
- Photos you choose to upload — some booking steps let you attach photos of the areas to be cleaned. These are optional. They are stored in a private, non-public storage bucket and are used only to quote and plan your clean.
- Enquiry details for businesses — for office cleaning quotes, your business name, business type, approximate size, staff numbers, preferred frequency and after-hours window.
- Website analytics — pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and how far you get through the booking form. This is collected through Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.
Why we collect it
To quote your job, confirm and schedule the clean, send you confirmations and reminders, get our cleaner safely into and out of your property, handle any quality issue afterwards, keep proper business records, and understand which parts of our website and booking form work and which do not.
Who else can see it
We keep this list short on purpose. Your information may be handled by:
- Supabase — our booking database, hosted in Sydney, Australia.
- Vercel — hosts our booking application.
- Resend — sends booking confirmation and notification emails.
- Google Analytics — website and booking-funnel analytics.
- Google Ads — measures which ads lead to enquiries and bookings.
- Our cleaners — the person attending your property receives only what they need: address, access instructions, scope and timing.
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not otherwise disclose your information, except where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website and booking form use first-party cookies and similar browser storage for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the booking form will still work. Analytics events never include your name, phone number or street address. When you submit an enquiry form, an irreversibly hashed (scrambled) version of your email address is sent to Google Ads so we can tell which ads bring us genuine enquiries. Google cannot read your address from it, and we never send it in readable form. If you would rather not be measured at all, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept while you are a customer and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Australian tax and business record-keeping rules require. Photos you upload are kept only as long as needed to quote and complete the job, and are deleted on request at any time.
Security
Booking data is stored in an access-controlled database. Uploaded photos sit in a private bucket that is not publicly readable. Access is limited to the owner and, where necessary, the cleaner assigned to your job. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep information we do not need.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email bookings@yerongacleanco.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. We may need to keep some booking and invoicing records to meet our legal obligations even after a deletion request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, contact us first at bookings@yerongacleanco.com.au. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
